Wolves Ink Pospisil
The Chicago Wolves have signed right wing TOMAS POSPISIL (PAHS-pih-sil) to an to an Amateur Tryout Contract.
The 19-year-old forward shared third on the Ontario Hockey League’s Sarnia Sting with a career-high 29 goals and ranked fifth with a career-best 67 points in 55 games this season. The Sumperk, Czech Republic, native helped the Sting reach the OHL¹s Western Conference Quarter Final Series this year and racked up five assists and six points in four postseason contests before the squad was eliminated.
The Atlanta Thrashers¹ fifth-round pick, 135th overall, in the 2005 National Hockey League Entry Draft, POSPISIL, recorded multiple points in 16 of his
55 outings with Sarnia this season and finished the year with a career-high 38 assists.
Overall, POSPISIL tallied 122 points (54G, 68A) and 99 penalty minutes in
115 games with Sarnia spanning two seasons (2005-2007).
