Sting Make Roster Moves
Sarnia, ON Sarnia Sting General Manager Alan Millar announced this afternoon that the hockey club has reassigned 7 players to their respective junior clubs following this afternoon’s on ice session. With today’s moves the current roster sits at 29 players.
Goaltender Brad Pope, defencemen Trent Brown, Jordan Benton and Steve Vince and forwards Shane Rhyno, Bowman Webster and Jason Lacombe were the players that were reassigned.
Pre-season action begins on Friday night when the Sting travel to London to take on the Knights. Game time is 7:30.
On Saturday is the annual Black and White Game this year featuring special guests Steven Stamkos, Ryan Wilson and Jamie Fraser beginning at 4:00, and then Sunday the Sting and Knights will play their second pre-season game at the SSEC beginning at 2:00.
