Sarnia Sting 2020 Draft Preview
The Sarnia Sting will look to add to their young core of talent which includes 2017 1st round selection Jamieson Rees, 2018 first round selection Jacob Perreault and 2019 first round selection Ben Gaudreau when the 2020 OHL priority Selection opens this Saturday, April 4th at 9:00 AM EST.
The annual Draft features 300 picks over 15 rounds. For the 13th straight year the OHL Priority Selection Draft Show will showcase the first three rounds through a live video stream online including live pick-by-pick results. Follow the live stream here.

North American players that reside in the province of Ontario, the states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York and other designated U.S. states east of the Mississippi River born January 1, 2001 through December 31, 2004 are eligible for selection through the 15 round process this year.
The order of selection is determined by inverse order of finish during the past OHL regular season schedule of games with non-playoff teams selection ahead of playoff teams.
The North Bay Battalion hold the first Overall Selection in this year’s priority selection.

Last year the Sarnia Sting chose Goaltender Benjamin Gaudreau with the seventh overall selection. Ben jumped right into the OHL this season and played 28 games for the team. Ben also finished the season as the top 2003 born goalie with 28 games played, 10 wins, 4.34 goals against average and a .890 save percentage.
