Rangers Down Sting 4-2
Sarnia, ON – The Sarnia Sting travelled to Kitchener on Friday to take on the Rangers in their second to last game of the regular season.
The Sting were searching for a victory in hopes of finishing at least in the fifth spot in the Western Conference.
Unfortunately for the Sting taking on the nations top ranked team was too much to handle on this night and they would fall to the Rangers 4-2.
The loss coupled with a Guelph Storm win means with one game left in the season the highest the Sting can finish is sixth.
Daniel Lombardi and Justin DiBenedetto were the Sting goal scorers on this night while Andrew Perugini made 37 saves in the loss.
The Sting close out the regular season Saturday night in Plymouth.
