STING OVERVIEW
The Sarnia Sting picked up 3 of a possible 6 points last weekend in games against the Saginaw Spirit and the Windsor Spitfires (2). The weekend was highlighted by the tremendous play of goaltender Taylor Dupuis, who recorded 56 saves in Sunday’s shootout loss to the Spitfires. The team will take the road on Thursday for games in North Bay and Sudbury before returning home to take on the Guelph Storm in the 16th Annual Teddy Bear Toss Game. Nick Latta and Daniel Nikandrov are the only active Sting players to have scored in any of the previous Teddy Bear Toss Games.

Taylor Dupuis – Dupuis stopped 92 of 95 shots this past weekend; moving him up to 10th among OHL goaltenders in terms of Save Percentage.
Anthony DeAngelo –DeAngelo remains atop the Scoring Leaderboard for OHL Defensemen with 39 Points in 27 games. DeAngelo was able to gather 4 more points over the weekend.

This will be the first time Sarnia and Sudbury meet since exchanging Defensemen in November. Jimmy McDowell looks to make an impression on his former team while the Sting face their former Captain, Craig Duininck.

Game Notes
The Sting look to upset the Guelph Storm, who are ranked 4th in the BMO CHL Top 10 Rankings. Sunday is the 16th Annual Teddy Bear Toss game where fans are encouraged to bring stuffed animals and toss them on the ice when the Sting score their first goal. Children’s tickets are only $5 on Sunday and there will be a guaranteed 50/50 jackpot of $2500.
