Skate with the Sting this Family Day

The annual Family Day tradition returns this holiday Monday (February 19th) as Imperial Sarnia Site presents Family Day at the Hive!

The exciting afternoon full of Sting family fun is capped off with a family skate with the Sting following the game thanks to the men and women of Imperial Sarnia, presenting partner of Sarnia Sting hockey all season long. Autograph posters will be available for all fans participating in the post-game event.

Here is what you need to know about the skate with the Sting:

• The safety of all participants is top priority and crucial up continued success of events like these. All participants are strongly encouraged to wear a helmet when participating in on-ice events. particularly youth under the age of 12.
• Please do not bring your skating equipment into the game, we encourage you to leave all equipment in your vehicle and re-enter the facility with equipment following the final buzzer.
• Participants can put their equipment on in the lower lobby located between rink 1 and 2 changing areas of the facility. There will be chairs positioned in these areas. This location can be accessed through the stairs or elevator located beside the Honeypot Official Sting Store.
• Participants are only permitted to enter the ice surface from the doors directly off the lower lobby. DO NOT enter the ice surface through other areas such as the Zamboni doors, players bench, Cogeco interview areas or penalty boxes.
• This event typically includes high volumes of people and heavy traffic, we kindly ask that you respect others and practice patience with others during the event.
• The post game skate and access to the players will run for thirty-minutes (30) following the game. When the  buzzer sounds we ask all participants to exit the ice surface to allow arena facility staff to clean the ice for scheduled community programming.
