Erie Otters at Sarnia Sting Game Preview – March 18th
Tonight, the Sarnia Sting will hit the ice for the last home game of the season. The Sting will face off against the Eerie Otters for Fan-O-Palooza Fan Appreciation Night at the Hive. Puck drop is set for 7:05 PM at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
This evening, we are celebrating the best fans in the OHL who have shown their unwavering support throughout the season. Assistant Captain Beckham Edwards has been consistently involved with the community, attending events, school visits and starting his BE Kind initiative. Ahead of tonight’s game, Edwards shared his message to fans, “Thank you for your endless support, coming in night in and night out, it’s been huge for the team.”
This season has had many rewarding moments: welcoming new players, celebrating those moving on and connecting with the community. Edwards said, “It’s bittersweet. It’s been a long season, and there’s been a lot of memories made in this arena. It’s sad the season is coming to an end”.
As the season at home comes to an end, the fans’ dedication and support are truly recognized when reflecting on the year the Sting have had. Edwards said, “When the Hive is packed, it gives us extra motivation to play for the fans. We really appreciate all you’ve done for us.”
