Round 2 Game 2: Generals take on 67’s looking for second home victory in series
Oshawa, Ont., – The Oshawa Generals and Ottawa 67’s get ready to face off in Game Two after the Gens took the first one 4-3.
Oshawa battled back in game one to get the win, giving themselves an early lead in the series. The Generals had three players with multi-point games–Beckett Sennecke had a goal and an assist, Calum Ritchie had a pair of goals and an assist, and Dylan Roobroeck scored one and added three helpers.
The 67’s jumped in front at Game One, but could not hold on to the lead, dropping the first game. Ottawa got scoring from all different places getting points from eight different players.
Game 1
Oshawa took down Ottawa 4-3 in Game One of the Second Round, giving the Generals a 1-0 series lead.
After the 67’s got on the board to start, Oshawa would score twice as Roobroeck deflected a shot into the net and Sennecke snapped a shot the Ottawa goalie couldn’t get all of.
Ottawa would tie things up but Oshawa would get back-to-back goals from Ritchie including a highlight reel goal beating a defenceman through his legs and dekeing the goalie before sliding the puck in the net.
Ottawa would score again with just over five minutes to go, but it was all for not, as they were unable to get another.

Dylan Roobroeck: The Generals’ forward is tied for first on the team in playoff points and goals with 11 points and 4 goals. Roobroeck has been a consistent contributor on the scoresheet this postseason picking up a point in all but one game.

Luca Pinelli: The Ottawa captain leads the team in goals this postseason scoring five times. Pinelli was able to beat Jacob Oster in game one.
