Oshawa, ON– The Oshawa Generals are proud to announce the launch of the Oshawa Generals Foundation.

The foundation will allow the organization to stay connected with the grassroots communities of Oshawa. Our goal is to continue to give back to local registered charities.

“I think the fact that the Oshawa Generals Foundation is going to be launched is a fantastic opportunity for the Generals to help those in the community that needs it,” says Oshawa Generals GM Roger Hunt. “Making improvements in our community is also a great way to be involved where we live and play. We are a family within the walls of our organization and this will show our core values to those outside the organization”.

The foundation will collect donations through community outreach events such as golf tournaments, 50/50 draws, and various online auctions.

“This is something that we wanted to do since I purchased this great organization,” says team President Rocco Tullio. “To be able to continue to give back to grassroots organizations and fund some great causes is something we are a looking forward to.”
