
Originally from Winsloe, Prince Edward Island, Kory played in the OHL for four seasons in the OHL beginning in 1994 with the Belleville Bulls. Kory played his last season with the Sudbury Wolves before going on to play a seven year professional career.
Upon retiring from professional hockey, Kory was hired by the Frontenacs in 2005 to be the club’s Goaltending Coach. Kory moved on from the organization after the 2011 season to pursue roles in professional hockey. Kory was the Brampton Beast’s (ECHL), Goaltending Coach for three seasons before taking a job with the Ottawa Senators organization (NHL). Kory spent the last five seasons as the Ottawa Senators Goalie Development Coach spending the majority of his time with the Belleville Senators (AHL). On July 6th, 2021, the Kingston Frontenacs announced that Kory would be taking over the General Manager duties.
Kory resides in Kingston with his wife Valerie and daughters Natalie, and Lauren. His oldest daughter, Genevieve lives in Ottawa where she attends Ottawa University. In his spare time, Kory enjoys spending time with his family at their cottage, golfing with friends, and travelling back to Prince Edward Island to visit with family and friends.
