A lifelong resident of the Limestone City, Doug Springer grew up cheering for the then Kingston Canadians. When the Frontenacs organization was placed for sale in 1997, the Springer family purchased the club eliminating the threat of relocation. Since this time (June, 1998), Doug has been the President and Governor of the Frontenacs.
In his spare time, Doug enjoys spending time with his family, watching and following professional sports, travelling, and spending time at the cottage in the summer months.
