Women’s hockey is on the rise, and you don’t want to pass up your chance to see some of the biggest names in the sport when Canada’s National Women’s Team returns to Kingston. Marie-Philip Poulin, Natalie Spooner, and Sarah Nurse are just a few of stars that helped cement Team Canada’s position at the top of the hockey world with two gold and a silver at the last three World Championships.
Now Team Canada will get just one opportunity to compete at home in Women’s World pre-tournament action when they take on Finland on Saturday, March 30th at the Slush Puppie Place in Kingston, Ontario.
The 2024 IIHF Women’s World Championship is set to take place in Utica, New York. Scheduled for April 3-14, 2024, this prestigious tournament will showcase 29 thrilling games, highlighting the talents of the world’s finest women’s hockey players. Hosted at the Adirondack Bank Center and Utica University Nexus Center, this 10-team event promises to captivate audiences with its exhilarating action and fierce competition.
Prior to the start of the tournament, Canada will play a pre-tournament game against Finland at 3 p.m. ET on March 30 at Slush Puppie Place.
