The Kingston Frontenacs are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Account Executive – Tickets & Group Sales to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating ticket revenue with a strong focus on group sales.
The successful candidate will actively develop new group accounts while also growing and maintaining existing relationships. You will also manage a variety of ticketing packages and ensure all clients receive top-tier service to foster long-term partnerships.

JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Account Executive – Ticket & Group Sales
REPORTS TO: Director of Ticket Sales & Marketing Strategies
The Account Executive (Ticket & Group Sales) is responsible for driving revenue through the development, sale, and management of ticketing opportunities, with a primary focus on group sales. This role places a strong emphasis on creating new group accounts while actively maintaining and growing existing relationships. In addition, the Account Executive will oversee all ticketing packages, ensuring exceptional service and a high level of client satisfaction to foster long-term partnerships.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Proactively develop new leads within assigned segments to maintain a strong sales pipeline, generate new business from existing customers, and build relationships that drive renewals.
- Responsible for meeting & exceeding targets as assigned
- Work in-house to administer and fully execute contractual agreements for all clients including new business and renewal opportunities in consultation with the reporting manager.
- Maintain and report weekly sales / prospecting activity
- Responsible for managing financial collections for each assigned account, in collaboration with the Business Operations Coordinator.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to create and develop sales collateral and technology-related materials.
- Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service and drive revenue growth.
- Negotiate pricing, prepare accurate quotes and proposals, and close sales by issuing contracts within assigned market segments, under the direction of the Director of Ticketing Sales & Marketing Strategies.
- Share leads and relevant client information with the Director of Corporate Partnerships & Sales when appropriate.
- Represent the organization at trade shows, community events, and industry meetings to maximize sales opportunities and revenue generation.
- Conduct post-event follow-ups to evaluate client satisfaction and actively re-solicit future business.
- Support additional ticketing and sales responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Participate in game day operations as required by the Business Operations team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to quickly establish rapport and build lasting relationships with clients, leading to repeat business and renewals. - Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with Salesforce is an asset but not required.
- Creative mindset with the ability to contribute to the development of engaging sales materials and presentations.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Valid Class G Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. The noise level in the environment is moderate. Work is generally scheduled Monday through Friday, with flexibility required for evenings and weekends on game days and special events.
