ABOUT THE ONTARIO HOCKEY LEAGUE
The Ontario Hockey League (OHL) is one of three major junior ice hockey leagues that form the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). Designed for players aged 15-20, the OHL serves as a crucial stepping stone for young athletes aspiring to reach the NHL.
The Kingston Frontenacs are proud to be one of 20 teams in the OHL and one of 10 teams competing in the league’s Eastern Conference. Each team plays a 68-game regular season, including 34 home games, offering fans plenty of opportunities to witness the next generation of hockey stars in action.
As the premier developmental league for the NHL, the OHL has seen tremendous growth in recent years. Enhanced business operations have led to significant increases in attendance, the introduction of state-of-the-art facilities, and expanded television broadcasts through local community broadcasters, CHL TV, and OHL Live.
