Raiders add Manitoba forward Kingerski in swap with Americans
Prince Albert, Sask. — The 2026 Eastern Conference champion Prince Albert Raiders have added forward Carter Kingerski in a trade with the Tri-City Americans.
In return, the Americans acquire a conditional sixth-round pick in the 2030 WHL Prospects Draft.
Kingerski, 18, is preparing for his second full season in the league after breaking in with Tri-City in 2025-26.
The 5-foot-10, 154-pound forward appeared in 45 contests, logging three goals (including a game-winning goal) and seven assists for 10 points.
He made his debut on September 21, 2024, but spent the bulk of the season with the Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s Winnipeg Freeze, where he registered 30 points (12G-18A) in 46 games.
Hailing from Headingley, Man., Kingerski was selected by the Americans with the 35th overall pick in the second round of the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft and won gold for Manitoba at the 2023 WHL Cup.
Kingerski joins a Raiders squad that’s angling for a return to the WHL Championship Series after falling to the Everett Silvertips last spring.
Prince Albert’s forward group features the likes of Dallas Stars prospect Brandon Gorzynski, 2026 Vegas Golden Knights pick Jonah Sivertson and 2027 NHL Draft-eligible Ben Harvey.
The Raiders will host the Regina Pats and teen phenoms Maddox Schultz and Liam Pue at the Art Hauser Centre on Friday, Sept. 18, at 7:00 p.m. CT.
