Rogers Hometown Hockey Coming To Moose Jaw
Moose Jaw will step in to the national spotlight early in 2017 when the Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour presented by Scotiabank and Dodge.
Canada’s ultimate hockey festival will stop in 24 communities throughout the 2016-2017 NHL season, the first stop will be in Newmarket, Ontario October 15 and 16, the tour stops in Moose Jaw January 7 and 8.
This season marks the third year of Roger’s ongoing commitment to growing the game of hockey through grassroots initiatives and events, connecting communities through memorable moments and shared experiences. Each community that is visited will be highlighted on the Rogers Hometown Hockey broadcasts and hosted live onsite by Ron MacLean with co-host Tara Slone, and headline by an NHL game broadcast every Sunday on Sportsnet.
Over the last two years the Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour has visited 49 communities across Canada, travelling 56,000km, while welcoming 400,000 visitors to the festival.
