Pats Try for Second Win Over Prince Albert
Head-to-Head
The Pats may be done with their B.C. road swing, but there’s still one more road test before getting back on home ice. The Blue and White head north to take on the East Division leading Prince Albert Raiders for the second time this season. In the teams’ first meeting, the Pats rolled to a 4-1 victory. Emil Sylvegard and Colton Jobke both had two-point nights while Sawyer Lange had the Raiders lone goal. The Pats head into P.A. with a 2-1-0-2 record in their previous five road games while the Raiders dropped their previous decision, a 6-4 loss to Lethbridge on home ice. Tonight’s game can be heard on 620 CKRM starting with the Press Box Sports Bar Pre-Game Show at 6:35 p.m. CST.
Lead Up: Pats End B.C. Road Trip with Loss
The Rockets jumped on the Pats early to the tune of a 3-0 lead after one period. J.T. Barnett struck twice for the first two goals of his WHL career. The Pats fought back into the game when Lane Scheidl scored to bring the game back within two. Kelowna put the Pats out of contention in the third period with a pair of early goals to cruise to a 5-1 win.
November Road Swing
The Pats finished their five game tour through the B.C. Division with a loss to Kelowna, but managed to pick up points in the other four games on the trip despite key injuries. They wrapped up the big trip with a 2-1-0-2 record and nearly 4,800 kilometres logged on the bus.
Reinforcements
To help deal with their current injury situation, the Pats have recalled forward Connor Gay from the Kindersley Klippers of the SJHL. In 23 games with the Klippers this season, Gay has 19 points (8G, 11A) and sits third in SJHL rookie scoring.
Scheidl Getting it Done
The over-age forward has been on a roll the last few games, scoring five goals in three games. That has him twelfth in league scoring. Scheidl is the only player in the league with two overtime winners which came against top teams in the league (Portland, Kamloops). He’s also tied for second in the league with four game winning goals.

Jordan Eberle Jersey Retirement Night
The big day is almost here as the Pats honour Jordan Eberle December 5th when they face off with the Red Deer Rebels. Be on hand for one of the biggest game nights of the Pats season as Jordan sees his number seven join the other Pats greats in the rafters.
