Jake DeBrusk opened the scoring in the first period before Sam Steel would reply for the Pats. Carter Rigby and Coda Gordon scored the powerplay markers for the Broncos. The Pats outshot Swift Current 12-3 in the third, but couldn’t find a way to put one in the back of the net.
