Pats drop their 1st of a 5 game road trip
Regina, Saskatchewan – Tonight was the debut of a pair of three Pats: Carter Ashton, Craig Orfino, who was acquired from the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Wednesday and Shamus Graham, who was just called up from Alberta Midget. It was the Tigers hitting the scoreboard first as Wacey Hamilton notched his 10th of the season at the 5:52 mark. Just 1:05 later, the Pats tied the game with Hampus Gustafsson smoking a slap shot into the top corner for his 9th goal of the season. Shamus Graham picked up an assist on that goal on his first WHL shift. 1:13 after that, the Pats made is 2-1 with Jordan Eberle putting on a show, dancing around the Tiger defence and tucking home his 29th of the campaign. The Tigers knotted the game a 2 with a 5-on-3 power play goal from Mark Isherwood.
rThe second was all Tigers with Mark Isherwood notching his second on the power play and 5 minutes later Bretton Cameron picked up his 25th of the season to make it 4-2 Tigers after 40 minutes.
rThe third was yet again all Tigers with three more goals picked up Gal, Konan and McKay to make the final 7-2.
