Pats and Silvertips Clash in Mid-Week Matchup
Head-to-Head
The Regina Pats (11-10-0-0) resume their U.S. Division road swing against the Everett Silvertips (14-3-3-0) tonight. The lone time these teams met last season saw the Pats come out with a 4-3 win over the Silvertips. Colby Williams had a pair of assists in the contest to lead returning Pats in the points column against Everett. The Silvertips got goals from three different players including current points leader Josh Winquist. Coming into their fourth game of the road trip, the Pats look to get back on the winning track after having a three game win streak snapped in Portland. The Silvertips find themselves with points in their last five games, winning four of those matchups. This evening’s game can be heard on 620 CKRM starting at 8:35 p.m. CST.
Lead Up: Pats Dropped 5-2 by Winterhawks
The Winterhawks got on the board early and worked out to a 2-0 lead courtesy of Nic Petan and Brendan Leipsic. The Pats cut into that number when Dryden Hunt scored his first of the season in the second, but Portland would regain the two goal lead off the stick of Taylor Leier. Kyle Burroughs brought the Pats back within one, but the Hawks goat goals from Chase De Leo and Leier to take the game by a 5-2 final score. Dawson MacAuley made 53 saves in the loss.

After tonight’s contest in Everett, the Blue and White have games against Tri-City and Spokane to round out the swing. They will not play in the Brandt Centre until November 29th with another swing against Medicine Hat and Red Deer still to come.
