The Week That Was
It was a successful week for the Pats filled with strong starts. The Blue and White built up a 6-0 lead over Red Deer before taking a 6-2 victory against the Rebels. Friday night had the Brandt Centre rocking as the home-side jumped to a 3-0 advantage against the Eastern Conference leading Calgary Hitmen and finishing with a 3-2 win. The lone road game of the week saw the Pats score four times in the first ten minutes in Saskatoon and cruise to the 6-2 win, their fifth over the Blades this season. The three-win week puts the Pats one point behind Swift Current for the East Division lead.
The Week Ahead
Friday, January 17th – Pats vs. Kootenay
Friday’s game marks the first time top 2014 NHL Draft prospect Sam Reinhart visits the Brandt Centre with the Kootenay Ice. The Ice had four players in addition to Reinhart listed in NHL Central Scouting’s mid-term rankings. It’s a key conference matchup with the Pats and Ice sitting just three points apart in the Standings.
Saturday, January 18th – Pats at Prince Albert
The battle for the East Division lead heads up to Prince Albert where the Pats look for their first win of the season against the Raiders. Prince Albert sits a just five points back of Regina with a couple games in hand making the matchup critical for the Pats as they try to solidify their position. Catch the action on 620 CKRM starting at 6:35 p.m.

Lung Association of Saskatchewan Presentations
Pats players visit Regina area schools to make presentations to children on behalf of the Lung Association of Saskatchewan to highlight the importance of being active. The Pats and Blades are also holding a challenge to see which fan-base, Regina or Saskatoon, can be more active. You can join the Lung Health Challenge at gotlungs.ca
West End Stage

“Seats for Kids” Program
The Regina Pats Hockey Club and Access Communications announced today the inception of their new “Seats for Kids” program in support of the Big Brothers of Regina. Through the “Seats for Kids” program, Regina Pats Season Ticket Holders are encouraged to donate tickets for upcoming games they won’t be able to attend to the Big Brothers of Regina. Season Ticket Holders can begin donating their tickets immediately at drop-boxes located at the Access Communications Studios/Offices located at 2250 Park St. or in the Pats Office at the West End of the Brandt Centre.
