Pat Chat February 17th
The Week That Was
It was a packed week for the Blue and White. The Pats started things out by taking a 3-2 win from the Kootenay Ice. Daniel Wapple was named the First Star, making 27 with Dyson Stevenson scoring the game winner. Friday, the Pats hit the road for the first time since January 22nd to visit the Raiders in Prince Albert. The Blue and White opened 2-0 and 3-1 leads, but the Raider powerplay tallied four times to give Prince Albert a lead in the third. Dryden Hunt evened things up and set the stage for Daniel Wapple to steal the Pats a 5-4 SO win and the East Division lead. The Queen City Bunch looked to earn some breathing room atop the division against the Swift Current Broncos, but Colby Cave scored twice and Eetu Laurikainen was fantastic to top the Pats, 4-3 in the shootout.
