Kammerer Makes Germany’s U-18 Squad
Regina, Saskatchewan – Regina Pats forward Maximilian Kammerer is once again on international duty for Team Germany, this time at the IIHF Ice Hockey U-18 World Championship. Kammerer holds a spot on Germany’s roster for the tournament taking place in Lappeenranta and Imatra, Finland. Germany opens the tournament tomorrow against Slovakia in Imatra.
Kammerer suited up for forty games with the Pats in the Regular Season of his rookie campaign and dressed for one of Regina’s games in the playoffs.
The Dusseldorf product has been a consistent contributor for Germany on the international stage. He was a member of the U-18 team in 2013 where he chipped in with an assist in five games of action and was represented his country at the 2014 World Junior Championships where he again notched one assist in seven games.
Kammerer was the Pats’ second round selection (76th Overall) in the 2013 CHL Import Draft.
