RECAP: Pats Suffer First Shutout Loss Saturday in Moose Jaw
The Regina Pats were shutout for the first time this season in Moose Jaw on Saturday night, 4-0 by the Warriors. The Warriors took the 1-0 lead late in the first on the powerplay. It stayed that way until there was five minutes left in regulation. The Warriors then got a fast break goal and added two more late, one into an empty net and took the 4-0 win. Zach Sawchenko made 37 saves for the shutout and was named the game’s first star. Tyler Brown was the third star making 24 saves. The Pats were oh for one on the powerplay and the penalty kill went three for five. The Pats return to action on Monday afternoon in Prince Albert against the Raiders.
