PREVIEW: Pats Look To get Back In Win Column vs. Broncos
Regina, Sask. – The Regina Pats wrap up their mini three game Saskatchewan road swing today at 4:00 p.m., against the Swift Current Broncos at the InnovationPlex.
The Pats enter tonight’s game with a 7-4-1-0 record and 15 points while the Broncos sit 4-6-1 with nine points.

The Regina Pats look to get back in the win column today as they are coming off a 6-4 loss to the Prince Albert Raiders on Friday, snapping the clubs four game winning-streak.
The Pats had a 2-1 lead after one period of play before the Raiders took a 4-2 lead into the third after a three goal second period. Tanner Howe finished the game with two assists, while Matteo Michels also chipped in with two points (1G-1A). Cole Temple, Sam Oremba and Borya Valis rounded out the scoring with Oremba scoring his first of the season. Kelton Pyne made 32 saves in the loss. The final shots were 38-26 for the Raiders. Both teams went 0-2 on their power plays.
The Pats have now won four of their last five games, and are 5-2-1 over their last eight games coming into today’s action.
Meanwhile, the Swift Current Broncos are coming off a 2-3 B.C. road trip and a 6-3 loss to the Kelowna Rockets on Wednesday, October 18. The Broncos got goals from Josh Fluker, Clarke Caswell and Tyson Laventure in the loss. Reid Dyck made 35 saves. The final shots were 41-31 for the Rockets. Swift Current went 1-4 on their power play and 4-6 on their penalty kill.
