PREVIEW: Pats Battle Warriors In Trans-Canada Highway Clash
Regina, Sask. – The Regina Pats begin a stretch of three straight games away from home as they take on the Moose Jaw Warriors on Tuesday at 7pm inside the Moose Jaw Events Centre.
The Pats are red hot, having won their last three games coming in, as they currently sit with a 6-3-1-0 record and 13 points, tied for second in the Eastern Conference. The Warriors are 6-4-0-0 on the season with 12 points. They had their three game winning-streak come to an end over the weekend.

The Regina Pats finished off their mini three game homestand on Saturday night with a 3-1 victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes, improving to 5-1-1 on home ice this year. Parker Berge (1G-1A), Tye Spencer and Braxton Whitehead scored for the Pats while Kelton Pyne grabbed his third win of the season, making 19 saves. The final shots were 26-20 for the Pats. Both teams went 0-3 on their power plays.
The Pats perfect week saw them defeat Calgary (5-4), Red Deer (4-3) and Lethbridge (3-1), with the games against Calgary and Red Deer being comeback victories. Saturday, the Pats held the lead from the first period onward. The three straight wins for the Pats is a season-high.
Meanwhile, the Moose Jaw Warriors are coming off a 6-3 loss to the Prince Albert Raiders on Saturday at home, snapping the clubs three game winning-streak. The Raiders took a 3-0 lead before Moose Jaw tied it with two in the second and one in the third. Three straight goals by the Raiders sealed the contest.
The Warriors got goals from Harper Lolacher, Atley Calvert and Lyden Lakovic. Dimitri Fortin got the start, allowing five goals on 37 shots. The final shot tally was 48-38 for Moose Jaw. The Warriors finished 1-4 on their power play and 1-2 on their penalty kill.
Today, the Warriors wrap up their four game homestand. Having gone 3-1-0 on it, Moose Jaw has defeated Medicine Hat (4-3), Calgary (5-3) and Lethbridge (4-3) before losing to Prince Albert.
