Pats Acquire Peskett From Kelowna For Draft Picks
Regina, Sask. – The Regina Pats have acquired 2006-born forward Logan Peskett from the Kelowna Rockets in exchange for a 2025 fifth-round pick and a 2027 seventh-round pick.
“We are pleased to add Logan Peskett to our hockey club,” Regina Pats VP, Hockey Operations & GM Alan Millar said. “Logan brings good size to our team, and can play an effective, physical, heavy game. As a 17-year-old, with 40 games experience in the league as a 16-year-old, we add a young player to the hockey club, and someone who we expect will grow, and develop with our group.”
Peskett, 17, scored one goal in 14 games with the Rockets this season before being acquired by the Pats on Wednesday. The North Vancouver, B.C. product tallied five points (3G-2A) in 40 games with the Rockets last season as a 16-year-old. The 6-foot-2, 196 lb. right winger was drafted by Kelowna in the sixth round (127th) of the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.
The Regina Pats organization would like to welcome Logan and his family to the City of Regina and to the hockey club.
