Pats Win Back and Forth Affair with Medicine Hat
Regina, Saskatchewan – The Regina Pats got two goals from both Austin Wagner and Sam Steel to win a back and forth affair with the Medicine Hat Tigers on Saturday night, 5-4 in overtime. The Pats led 1-0, 2-1, 3-2 and 4-3 but each time they took the lead, the Tigers responded with the game tieing goal. Sam Steel scored the game winner, in overtime, tipping in a Connor Hobbs point shot on the powerplay. Beyond Steel and Wagner’s two goal nights, the Pats got three assists from Adam Brooks in his pre-season debut and two helpers from Riley Woods to improve to 3-2-0-0 in the pre-season.
