WHAT’S HAPPENING
It’s kids takeover! Today, kids will take over the Brandt Centre with public address announcing and much more! There will also be a public post-game skate following the conclusion of todays game. Bring your skates and helmets to the Brandt Centre and skate with the players after the game!

PREVIEW
The Regina Pats got back in the win column on Friday, recording a 4-1 win over the Swift Current Broncos thanks to a three goal opening frame. The three goals in the first period set a season high for goals in a frame. The Pats also outshot their opposition for the first time this season, outshooting the Broncos 30-27.
The Pats got goals from Connor Bear, Jaxsin Vaughan, Zach Moore and Tyson Buczkowski. Kelton Pyne made 26 saves for his third win of the season and Braxton Whitehead tallied two assists. Zachary Lansard also grabbed an assist for his first career WHL point, and Bear scored his first WHL goal. The Pats power play went 1-2 and their penalty was 3-3.
The Pats have now won three of their last four games coming in.
The Spokane Chiefs are coming off a 2-1 loss to the Saskatoon Blades on Friday, snapping their five game winning-streak. Berkly Catton opened the scoring with his second goal of the season, but the Blades tied it in the second before Tanner Molendyk won the contest in the third. Dawson Cowan was named second star, allowing two goals on 34 shots.
The final shots were 36-21 for Saskatoon. The Blades went 0-2 on their power play and the Chiefs went 1-2 on their power play.
WHO TO WATCH
Braxton Whitehead is two points away from 100 career points, and is coming off a two assist performance over the Swift Current Broncos, giving him four assists in seven games this season. Whitehead is coming off a career 2023-24 season, posting 52 points in 52 games.
Berkly Catton was drafted by the Seattle Kraken with the eighth overall pick of the 2024 NHL Draft after recording 116 points (54G-62A) in 68 games, finishing fourth in WHL scoring. Catton became the highest-drafted Chief since Pat Falloon went second overall to the San Jose Sharks in 1991.
He was one of four former CHL players to score over 100 points in their draft year, joining Connor Bedard, Patrick Kane, and Sidney Crosby.
