Pats announce details surrounding 2019 Prairie Classic Outdoor Game
The Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to announce the details surrounding the 2019 Prairie Classic, outdoors at Mosaic Stadium on Sunday, October 27 against the Calgary Hitmen.
The Pats will be celebrating their connection with Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry and the entire Canadian Forces in their annual Military Appreciation game. There will be members of all three arms of the Canadian Forces, Infantry (PPCLI), the Navy (HMCS Queen) and the Airforce (15-Wing Moose Jaw).
The Pats will be wearing commemorative Prairie Classic jerseys for the game, they will be auctioned off online beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22 at reginapats.com/auction2019.
Pats goaltender Max Paddock will be wearing a Prairie Classic commemorative mask for the contest. That mask will be raffled off at the game, tickets will be three for $10 and available on the concourse at Mosaic Stadium behind section 108.
“We couldn’t be more excited for Sunday,” said Pats Chief Operating Officer Stacey Cattell. “To play outdoors, honour our countries military and celebrate the roots of the game at Mosaic Stadium is going to be a once in a lifetime experience.”
Fan Fest from Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic will be open outside Mosaic Stadium prior to the game starting at 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Prairie Classic merchandise will be available at the stadium and tickets for the game are available at reginapats.com. More than 10,000 tickets have already been sold. Puck drop against the Calgary Hitmen is at 2 p.m.
