RECAP: Pat Make History with 50th Win Wednesday Night
The Regina Pats made history on Wednesday night, winning their 50th game of the season for the first time ever, 6-2 over the Swift Current Broncos. Adam Brooks, Dawson Leedahl and Sergey Zborovskiy all scored in the first to give Regina the 3-0 lead. The Pats added two on the powerplay in the second and another in the third to take the two points and improve to 50-12-7-1 on the season. Adam Brooks and Sam Steel each had three point nights in the win while Jordan Hollett made 24 saves for his 14th victory in goal. Regina outshot the Broncos 41-26, the powerplay was two for four and the penalty kill five for six. The Pats are back in action on Friday night against the Brandon Wheat Kings. Puck drop at the Brandt Centre is at 7 p.m.
