Trey Fix-Wolanksy named McSweeney’s Player of the Month for October
Edmonton Oil Kings captain Trey Fix-Wolansky has been named the McSweeney’s Player of the Month for October.
The 19-year-old Edmonton native has gotten off to an electric start to the 2018-19 season, tallying eleven goals and 32 points in 17 games.
He’s coming off a nine-point (2G, 7A) weekend which saw the Oil Kings go 3-0-0-0, which included a three-point night (1G, 2A) on Saturday vs. the Saskatoon Blades followed by his first four-point performance of the season on Sunday (1G, 3A) vs. the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
Fix-Wolansky and the Oil Kings are back in action on Friday, November 2 when they take on the Regina Pats. The team will return home to Rogers Place on Saturday, November 17 when they host the Kelowna Rockets for Wizards and Witches Night at 7:00 PM MT.
