50/50 DURING 2024-25 SEASON
This 50/50 raffle will give fans in Alberta a chance to win big this season! The 50/50 raffle will also raise important dollars for the Edmonton Oil Kings Education Association which supports the education of current and former Edmonton Oil Kings players along with the education of young students in the Capital Region.
One of the main pillars of the Oil Kings organization is to support furthering the education for not only our players and alumni, but also for the people in our community.
Thanks to your support of the EOKEA, they have been able relieve the financial burden to send hundreds of young hockey players and Edmonton high school students onto a post-secondary education.
Tickets will be available for purchase online starting at 10:00AM MT at the start of each 50/50 raffle event and will close at 10:00 PM MST on the last day of each 50/50 Raffle Event.
Tickets may also be purchased in venue at Rogers Place during Edmonton Oil Kings home games; with the exception of Hockey Hooky. All in venue sales will stop 15 minutes after the end of the game.
After sales have been closed, the draw shall take place and be announced no later than 11:59 PM on the game day. The winning number will be posted on this page at the link above.
Tickets can be purchased by individuals 18 years or older, located within Alberta’s provincial borders at the time of purchase. All ticket sales are final and ticket buyers will receive a receipt via email after purchasing that will list all numbers associated with the purchased tickets.
If purchasers have not received their tickets by 9:00 AM MT the following day, they are instructed to e-mail [email protected] before 12:00 PM MT. Any resend requests received after 12:00 PM MT will not be processed. Tickets will be resent to purchasers between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM MT. Purchasers must e-mail from the original e-mail address they used for the ticket purchase, which must be entered correctly.
Fans can select from the following four ticket pack options:
- Regular:Five dollars ($5.00) for one (1) ticket (D)
- Discount 1:Ten dollars ($10.00) for twenty (20) tickets (C)
- Discount 2:Twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for eighty (80) tickets (B)
- Discount 3:Fifty dollars ($50.00) for two hundred & fifty (250) tickets (A)

WINNING TICKET INFO
The winning raffle number will be posted on the Edmonton Oil Kings website at https://oilkings.ca/50-50 shortly after the draw. In the case of a discrepancy between the posted raffle number and the actual raffle number selected through RNG, the actual raffle number selected through RNG will be considered to be the valid winning raffle number.
The holder of the ticket containing the winning raffle number will have until 4:00 PM MST 4 business days from the time of the announcement of the winning raffle number to present the ticket containing the winning raffle number to the Association. If the winner has not come forward within 2 business days from the time of the announcement of the winning raffle number, the Association will use the email and/or phone number provided by the ticket purchaser to try to contact them.
Ticket purchasers may not transfer their tickets to anyone else prior to claiming the prize. The holder of the ticket containing the winning raffle number may claim their prize by contacting the 50/50 office at [email protected] and forwarding their purchase e-mail and a copy of their government issued photo identification and address or present their purchased ticket to the Association. The name on the government issued photo identification must match the name that was used to purchase the ticket.
Each prize claimant must provide the Association with all information required by provincial gaming regulations to claim a prize. The prize claimant will be required to sign a Declaration and Release (“Release”) which must be executed and returned to the Association no later than 5 business days after his/her receipt of the Release. The winner’s name, image, city or town of residence and statements will be publicized on the list of prize winners located at https://oilkings.ca/50-50 and will be used for the purposes of advertising, publicity and promotion in any matter or media as the Association may determine, without further compensation to the winner other than the prize awarded.
All prizes will be awarded to the winners within 60 days of the winner delivering the ticket containing the winning raffle number, the executed Release, and all other required documents to the Association. All Prizes not claimed on or before the Prize Claim Expiry Date (4:00 PM MST, 4 business days from the time of the announcement of the winning raffle number), will be added to one or more jackpots at the discretion of the Association, with AGLC approval. This means that any unclaimed Prizes will be redistributed by adding the amount to the Raffle of the designated 50/50 Raffle Event. If the winner of an Early Bird Prize does not contact the Association by the Prize Claim Expiry Date, the Early Bird Prize will be forfeited.
