Hurricanes upended 7-2 in Speedy
r Rookie Ryon Moser has two point night
r Swift Current, SK – The Hurricanes will come from empty handed from Saskatchewan this weekend as they fell 7-2 to the Swift Current Broncos on Saturday night. 2066 fans packed the Credit Union I-plex in Swift Current as the Broncs dished out the Canes 4th loss of the 2009-10 season. The Canes had a few bright spots however as they still had enough in them to tally 2 third period goals despite being down 4-0 going into the final frame. Rookie Ryon Moser had a two point night including his second career WHL goal while Sophomore Brody Sutter notched his first of the 2009-10 campaign. Ville Kolppanen and Michael Tadjdeh combined for 20 saves on the night as the Canes were outshot 27-25 by the Broncs and finished the night 0 for 6 on the power play, while holding the Broncos to 0 for 7 with he man advantage.
