GAME DAY: Hurricanes Visit Alberta Capital; Face Oil Kings
Edmonton, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes continue their swing of road games this afternoon in Edmonton against the Oil Kings at Rogers Place at 4:00pm.
The Hurricanes (7-4-1-2) have won three straight games after earning a 7-6 win over the Calgary Hitmen at Scotiabank Saddledome on Friday night. Jadon Joseph scored twice while Logan Barlage, Calen Addison, Jordy Bellerive, Keltie Jeri-Leon and Zach Cox scored the others. The ‘Canes enter play tonight having collected points in six straight games posting a 4-0-1-1 record in that span.
The Oil Kings (8-7-0-1) are coming off a 5-2 win last night at home against the Saskatoon Blades at Rogers Place. Overage forward Quinn Benjafield scored twice in the victory. Tonight will be the final of a three-in-three weekend for the Oil Kings, who kicked the weekend off with a convincing win in Kootenay on Friday night.
Tonight will be the first of six meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Oil Kings. Last year, the ‘Canes went 3-2-1-0 against Edmonton.
