GAME DAY: Hurricanes Kick Off US Trip Against Silvertips
Everett, WA – The Lethbridge Hurricanes open a five-game road trip tonight at 8:00pm MT when they visit the Everett Silvertips at the Angel of the Winds Arena.
The Hurricanes (12-6-1-0) enter after having their four-game winning streak end with a 3-2 loss against the Victoria Royals on Saturday. Logan Wormald and Leo Braillard scored in the defeat while Koen Cleaver made 16-saves in the loss. Lethbridge enters on a three-game road winning streak while they enter with a 4-4-0-0 record on the road this season.
The Silvertips (16-3-1-0) enter on a three-game winning streak after earning a 5-2 win over the Seattle Thunderbirds on Saturday. Carter Bear scored three times while Eric Jamieson and Tyler MacKenzie added the others; Alex Garrett made 15-saves in the win. Everett enters with a 7-1-0-0 on home ice this year.
Tonight will be the only meeting of the season between the Hurricanes and Silvertips; Lethbridge has posted an 0-4-1-0 record in the last five meetings against Everett. The game can be streamed on WHL Live, watched at Browns Socialhouse in Lethbridge or heard on 106.7 ROCK.

VS. SILVERTIPS: Tonight will be the only meeting of the season between the Hurricanes and Silvertips. Lethbridge dropped a 5-1 decision to Everett last season in their only meeting. Trade Winds: The Hurricanes acquired 2005-born import defenceman Vojtech Port on November 15th from the Moose Jaw Warriors in exchange for 2006-born rearguard Ryder Ellis, a second-round draft pick (2027) and a third-round draft pick (2025).
