Next Home Game: The Hurricanes will return to the VisitLethbridge.com Arena on Friday, September 25th when they welcome Brent Kisio’s Red Deer Rebels at 7:00pm. It will mark the first of eight meetings between he ‘Canes and Rebels this season. Truth & Reconciliation Night: The Hurricanes will hold their annual Truth & Reconciliation Night on Friday, September 25th when they welcome the Red Deer Rebels. Fans are encouraged to wear an Orange Shirt to the game in support of Orange Shirt Day on September 30th.
41st Annual General Meeting: The Hurricanes will hold their 41st Annual General Meeting for the Shareholders on Monday, September 21st in the National Bank Lounge at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena. Doors will open at 5:00pm with the meeting beginning at 6:00pm. Entrance will be at the NW doors.
40th Anniversary Time Capsule & Mural: Fans are encouraged to celebrate the Hurricanes 40th Anniversary Season and bring a small item or write a note on a ‘Canes template for the time capsule that will be opened at the 50th Anniversary. Items can be dropped off at the capsule at all Hurricanes home games this year. Additionally, fans can add their name to the 40th Anniversary mural at all home games this season.

Friday, September 18th – 5-2 Loss vs. Medicine Hat Tigers: The Hurricanes opened their 40th Anniversary Season on Friday with a 5-2 loss to the Medicine Hat Tigers at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena. Dayne Beuker and Owen Berge scored in the loss while Koen Cleaver made 31-saves. Lethbridge was outshot 36-27 in the contest by Medicine Hat.
Saturday, September 19th – 5-1 Loss at Medicine Hat Tigers: The ‘Canes suffered their 11th straight loss dating back to last year on Saturday with a 5-1 defeat to the Medicine Hat Tigers on Saturday. Logan Stuart scored his first WHL goal in the loss while Leif Oaten making 27-saves in the game. Lethbridge was outshot 33-31 by Medicine Hat.

Friday, September 25th – vs. Red Deer Rebels (7:00pm): The Hurricanes will welcome the Red Deer Rebels on Friday at 7:00pm at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena. It will be the first of eight meetings this season against their Central Division rivals and the return of former ‘Canes head coach Brent Kisio. Lethbridge posted a record of 1-6-1-0 against Red Deer during the 2025-2026 season. It will be the only game of the week for the Hurricanes and the first of a three-game homestand.
