GAME DAY: Nov. 22 at Kelowna
Kelowna, B.C. – The Vancouver Giants (9-6-4-0) begin their first 3-in-3 of the season tonight on the road agains the Kelowna Rockets (8-9-1-1) at 7:05 p.m. PT, a division rival they have yet to face this year.
The G-Men are looking to break out of a four-game slide (0-2-2) where they have been outscored 24-12.
The Giants are 3-4-3 on the road so far this season. Last year, Vancouver went 1-6-1 against Kelowna, getting outscored 36-19 in those eight games.
The Rockets have struggled out of the gate, currently last in the B.C. Division and coming off a 5-4 loss to Wenatchee on Wednesday. They are 5-4-1-1 on home ice this season and are 4-4-1-1 in their last 10 games.

Tonight is the first of eight meetings this season.
There are certainly some similarities between the two teams thus far in 2024-25.
Both have shown an ability to score amongst the best: Vancouver is fourth in goals for per game (4.21), while Kelowna is fifth (4.05). Both would like to cut down on their goals against: Kelowna is 15th in goals against per game (3.79), while Vancouver is T-19th (4.11). Their goal differential on the season is nearly identical, with the Giants at +2 and Kelowna at +5, each through 19 games played.
Vancouver has hade some difficulty as of late winning on the road in Kelowna. They went 0-4 last year and 1-4 the previous season. Their last win at Prospera Place was January 21, 2023. In the last five years, the G-Men are 3-12-1-1 against the Rockets on the road, but 9-5-2 against the Rockets at home.
Both clubs are also hoping to make up ground in the standings, as they have each played the fewest games in the Western Conference at 19. Vancouver is five points back of fourth-place Victoria with three games in hand. Kelowna is five points back of sixth-place Kamloops with three games in hand.
The Giants newest member, defenceman Ethan Mittelsteadt, will face his former team just one week after being traded.
