GAME DAY: Friday, January 10 at Kamloops
Kamloops, B.C. – The Vancouver Giants (19-16-4-0) look to rebound from two close losses up in Prince George earlier this week when they face a different B.C. Division opponent in the Kamloops Blazers (13-21-3-0) tonight at 7 p.m. at the Sandman Centre.
The Giants lost 4-2 on Tuesday and 6-5 on Wednesday, but before that were rolling with a 5-1 record since the holiday break.
The last time these teams met was on Dec. 27 when Vancouver took a 4-3 overtime decision on the road. It was one of three wins against Kamloops this season in four opportunities thus far. Vancouver has outscored Kamloops 17-16 in the four matchups combined, with three of the four being decided by two goals or less.
The Blazers haven’t played since Jan. 5 and have lost three straight: two to Spokane and one to Kelowna.
Vancouver is 6-4-0-0 in their last 10, while Kamloops is 1-7-2-0. They are 7-8-1-0 on home ice this season.
