The Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League announced Tuesday that they have signed forward Chase Harrington to a three-year, entry-level contract. 

Harrington, a Prince George, BC native was named captain of the Spokane Chiefs for 2026-27, opening his campaign with a goal, two assists and a fight to register a ‘Gordie Howe hat trick’ in a 3-2 win over Tri-City last Saturday. 

The 18-year-old led Spokane in points during the 2025-26 campaign, posting a career-best 57 points from a team-high 28 goals and 29 assists.  Harrington also registered 105 penalty minutes in 61 games last season to lead the team. 

Harrington earned his first NHL preseason game earlier this month, skating for the Flames in Seattle on September 24. He was Calgary’s second round pick (36th overall) at the 2026 NHL Draft.
