Blades bring Christmas joy to Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital
The Saskatoon Blades brought the holiday spirit to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital with their annual Christmas visit, delivering gifts and sharing smiles with young patients and their families.
As part of the visit, members of the Blades delivered $2,000 worth of gifts on behalf of the organization. Members included captain Tyler Parr, alternate captains Rowan Calvert, Brayden Klimpke, and Hunter Laing, Columbus Blue Jackets prospect Evan Gardner, and Head Coach Dan DaSilva. Players and staff also took part in a festive activity with patients, building gingerbread houses together and creating a warm, joyful atmosphere throughout the unit.
The annual visit is a long-standing tradition for the Blades, reinforcing the team’s commitment to giving back to the Saskatoon community and supporting local families during the holiday season.
The Saskatoon Blades would like to thank Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital for welcoming the team once again and allowing them to be part of such a meaningful holiday tradition.
