2025-26 CHL Top-10 Rankings presented by Delta Hotels by Marriott: Week 15
The Canadian Hockey League (CHL) today unveiled its Week 15 edition of the CHL Top-10 Rankings presented by Delta Hotels by Marriott for the 2025-26 season.
The Chicoutimi Saguenéens climbed for a fourth straight week and now sit No. 1 for the first time this season after going 4-1 since the break, led by the continued production of Alex Huang and Maxim Massé. Close behind, the Everett Silvertips slid to No. 2 after splitting four games, but they still pace the CHL with 29 wins and remain among the league’s most consistent clubs. Meanwhile, the Prince Albert Raiders are back at No. 3 for the third time in five weeks, riding a five-game win streak and outscoring opponents 29-5 in their four post-break victories.
Further down the list, several clubs have surged into (or back into) the Top 10 on the strength of dominant stretches: the Ottawa 67’s have climbed for a second straight week to a season-best No. 4, fueled by a 10-game point streak and seven of eight points to open the second half. In the WHL, the Medicine Hat Tigers continue to skyrocket, extending a CHL-best 19-game point streak and a 15-game winning streak to move up another spot to a season-high No. 8. In the QMJHL, defending champion Moncton has opened the second half 4-0 and owns just one regulation loss in its last 17 to rise again, while the Windsor Spitfires have played their way back into the rankings on a five-game winning streak, vaulted by strong recent results and key roster reinforcements.

CHL Top-10 Rankings – Week 15
1. Chicoutimi Saguenéens (QMJHL): With four wins in five games since returning from the holiday break, the Chicoutimi Saguenéens (26-6-3-2) have climbed the CHL Top-10 Rankings for a fourth straight week and moved into the No. 1 spot for the first time this season. The Sags picked up wins over the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada (4-3) and Sherbrooke Phoenix (4-2) before sweeping a two-game set against the Québec Remparts (6-0, 5-1), with their lone blemish a 5-1 loss to the Victoriaville Tigres on Sunday. Nashville Predators prospect Alex Huang (4G-37A in 35 GP) led the way with seven points from the back end and has 21 points (2G-19A) in his last 13 games, already setting new single-season highs in assists (37) and points (41). Anaheim Ducks prospect Maxim Massé (31G-23A in 36 GP) continues to lead the CHL with 31 goals, while newcomer Tomas Lavoie (6G-21A in 29 GP) has clicked quickly with six points (1G-5A) in five games. With additional reinforcements on the way (such as Maxim Schäfer and Anton Linde from the 2026 World Juniors) along with Ottawa Senators prospect Lucas Beckman joining Raphaël Précourt in net—tied for fifth in the CHL in GAA (2.31) and leading the league in shutouts (5)—the Saguenéens will look to hold No. 1 this week at home versus Baie-Comeau and Victoriaville.
Games this week: vs. Baie-Comeau (Jan. 9), vs. Victoriaville (Jan. 10)
2. Everett Silvertips (WHL): After splitting their four games since returning from the holiday break, the Everett Silvertips (29-5-2-1) have slipped one spot to No. 2 after holding the top position last week, though they still lead the CHL with 29 wins. Everett dropped a pair of road decisions to the Seattle Thunderbirds (5-3) and Portland Winterhawks (5-2), but also registered home victories over Seattle (3-2 SO) and the Wenatchee Wild (6-0). Those two regulation defeats last week were only the fourth and fifth of the Silvertips’ season as they navigate time without World Juniors participants Carter Bear, Julius Miettinen, and Matias Vanhanen. In their absence, rookie Rhys Jamieson (9G-5A in 23 GP) and 2027 NHL Draft prospect Landon DuPont (9G-21A in 32 GP) led the way with five points each. Jamieson is riding a four-game point streak and has produced 10 points (6G-4A) in his last nine, while DuPont has points in nine of his last 10 outings and has scored in five of his last six games (6G). The Silvertips will look to regain the top spot this week when they head to Prince George for a two-game set against the Cougars.
Games this week: @ Prince George (Jan. 10), @ Prince George (Jan. 11)
3. Prince Albert Raiders (WHL): Riding a five-game win streak since returning from the holiday break, the Prince Albert Raiders (27-5-4-0) are back in the No. 3 spot for the third time in five weeks after outscoring opponents 29-5 over the past 10 days, sweeping home-and-home sets against the Swift Current Broncos (7-1, 8-0) and Regina Pats (9-2, 5-2). Prince Albert’s 27 wins are just two shy of the WHL and CHL-leading Everett Silvertips (29), and along with Everett, the Raiders are one of only two CHL clubs sporting a points percentage above .800. Offensively, the Raiders have been fueled by balanced production, with five skaters posting eight points across the four victories since returning from holidays—highlighted by 2026 NHL Draft prospect Daxon Rudolph (17G-23A in 36 GP), who has extended his point streak to 12 games (10G-12A over that span) to rank among the WHL’s top-scoring defencemen, and 20-year-old forward Brayden Dube (17G-20A in 36 GP), who netted six goals over the stretch (including a hat trick vs. Regina) and shares the team lead with 17 goals while riding a nine-game point streak. This week, with goaltender Michal Orsulak and defenceman Matyas Man set to rejoin the lineup after earning silver with Czechia at the 2026 World Juniors, the Raiders will look to keep rolling at home as they welcome Swift Current and the No. 6-ranked Edmonton Oil Kings to the Art Hauser Centre.
Games this week: vs. Swift Current (Jan. 9), vs. Edmonton (Jan. 10)
4. Ottawa 67’s (OHL): Riding a 10-game point streak (9-0-0-1), the Ottawa 67’s (28-7-1-2) have climbed the CHL Top-10 for a second straight week to a season-best No. 4 after opening the second half by collecting seven of a possible eight points. Since the holiday break, Ottawa earned wins over Kingston (5-3), Guelph (5-1), and Oshawa (3-2), with its only blemish a 4-3 shootout loss on the road in Kingston, as the 67’s continue to pace the OHL with 28 wins—one shy of CHL-leading Everett (29)—and haven’t suffered a regulation loss in over a month (last regulation defeat: 4-1 vs. Barrie). Carolina Hurricanes prospect Filip Ekberg (14G-13A in 29 GP) led the way with five points over the four games and is on a six-game point streak while scoring a goal in seven of his last 10. Meanwhile, 2026 NHL Draft-eligible rookie Thomas Vandenbegen (13G-12A in 29 GP) added four points and sits among the OHL’s top rookie scorers with 25 points. With Jasper Kuhta set to return from the World Juniors with Finland and free-agent forward Teddy Spitznagel joining from the University of Michigan, the 67’s will look to keep rolling on a road swing through North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie and Sudbury.
Games this week: @ North Bay (Jan. 8), @ Sault Ste. Marie (Jan. 9), @ Sudbury (Jan. 11)
5. Brantford Bulldogs (OHL): After splitting their four games since returning from the holiday break (2-2-0-0), the Brantford Bulldogs (25-7-4-1) have slid again in the CHL Top-10 Rankings, dropping to their lowest position since the opening edition of the 2025-26 season. Brantford has been shorthanded in a big way, missing five key pieces who competed at the 2026 World Juniors—Vladimír Dravecký, Adam Jiříček, and Adam Benák with Czechia, plus Jett Luchanko and Ben Danford with Canada—with all five returning as medallists (the Canadian duo with bronze, the Czech trio with silver). The Bulldogs have also been without captain and Seattle Kraken prospect Jake O’Brien, who has missed the last five games due to injury, and in the absence of that group, Brantford has absorbed five regulation losses in its last 10 outings—more than double the two regulation defeats it suffered over its first 27 games. Even so, 2026 NHL Draft prospect Caleb Malhotra (18G-32A in 36 GP) continued to drive the offense with a team-best six points over the four games and has been held off the scoresheet just twice in his last 14 contests dating back to Nov. 21. With reinforcements on the way post-World Juniors and a major addition in former Guelph Storm captain Charlie Paquette (17G-19A in 36 GP), Brantford will look to get back on track this week against the Niagara IceDogs, London Knights, and the No. 9-ranked Windsor Spitfires.
Games this week: vs. Niagara (Jan. 7), @ London (Jan. 9), @ Windsor (Jan. 11)
6. Edmonton Oil Kings (WHL): After opening the second half of the 2025-26 season with a perfect 5-0-0-0 run, the Edmonton Oil Kings (26-7-3-1) have climbed one spot to No. 6 in this week’s CHL Top-10 Rankings. Edmonton earned those five wins against the Red Deer Rebels (3-2, 5-1), Lethbridge Hurricanes (5-2, 7-1), and Seattle Thunderbirds (5-3), powered by a pair of offensive catalysts in Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Miroslav Holinka (23G-31A in 34 GP) and 18-year-old forward Lukas Sawchyn (17G-33A in 37 GP), who each produced a team-high 11 points over the streak. Holinka enters the week on an eight-game point streak and has been held off the scoresheet just twice in his last 18 games dating back to Nov. 7, while scoring in six of his last seven outings—including his first career hat trick versus Lethbridge. Sawchyn has also stayed hot with a goal in five of his last six games and a six-game point streak that features five multi-point performances. This week, the Oil Kings will look to keep rolling as they prepare to welcome back World Juniors medallists Max Curran (silver with Czechia) and Ethan MacKenzie (bronze with Canada) ahead of a four-game road swing through Swift Current, Saskatoon, and Prince Albert, including a marquee matchup with the No. 3-ranked Raiders.
Games this week: @ Swift Current (Jan. 7), @ Saskatoon (Jan. 9), @ Prince Albert (Jan. 10)
7. Moncton Wildcats (QMJHL): Having opened the second half with a perfect 4-0-0-0 run, the QMJHL-defending champion Moncton Wildcats (26-7-2-1) have climbed one spot in this week’s CHL Top-10 Rankings. Moncton has won nine of its last 10 (9-1-0-0) and owns just one regulation loss in its last 17 games dating back to November 19 (15-1-0-1), continuing that surge with wins since the break over the Cape Breton Eagles (6-5 SO), Newfoundland Regiment (5-3), Charlottetown Islanders (6-1), and Halifax Mooseheads (3-2 SO). With Utah Mammoth prospect Caleb Desnoyers away at the 2026 World Juniors, Utah Mammoth prospect Gabe Smith (16G-23A in 32 GP) and 2026 NHL Draft prospect Tommy Bleyl (6G-37A in 35 GP) carried the offense, each posting seven points across the four victories—Smith riding a four-game point streak since the holidays with points in eight of his last nine, while Bleyl’s seven-game point streak ended Saturday in Halifax after a stretch that featured six multi-point performances. The Wildcats will look to keep rolling this week at the Avenir Centre as they host the Gatineau Olympiques and Newfoundland.
Games this week: vs. Gatineau (Jan. 7), vs. Newfoundland (Jan. 10)
8. Medicine Hat Tigers (WHL): Red-hot Medicine Hat has continued its climb up the CHL Top-10 Rankings, moving up one spot to a season-best No. 8 after extending its CHL-best 19-game point streak (17-0-1-1) and pushing its winning streak to 15 straight. Since returning from the break, the Tigers closed out December with a perfect 9-0-0-0 run—beating Lethbridge (5-1) and Red Deer (7-4, 8-0)—before carrying that momentum into 2026 with back-to-back wins over the Moose Jaw Warriors (6-3, 5-1); it’s now been nearly two months since their last regulation loss (Nov. 8 vs. Brandon). Leading the charge has been 2026 NHL Draft prospect Liam Ruck (20G-33A in 38 GP), who piled up a WHL-best 12 points (6G-6A) over the Tigers’ five post-break victories while stretching his goal streak to seven games (nine goals) and point streak to 11 games (26 points), climbing to 53 points on the season. Captain and Montréal Canadiens prospect Bryce Pickford (28G-25A in 36 GP) remains right there as well—riding a 13-game point streak and continuing to lead the WHL in goals with an eye-opening 28 from the blue line. The Tigers will look to keep their streaks rolling this week at Co-op Place as they host Seattle and Lethbridge.
Games this week: vs. Seattle (Jan. 9), vs. Lethbridge (Jan. 10)
9. Windsor Spitfires (OHL): Surging back into form, the Windsor Spitfires (26-8-3-1) have worked their way back into the CHL Top-10 Rankings on the heels of a five-game winning streak, including four straight victories since returning from the holiday break. Windsor punched its ticket back into the mix with wins over the No. 10-ranked Flint Firebirds (4-1), Saginaw Spirit (6-0), Niagara IceDogs (2-1 OT), and Erie Otters (4-1), improving to 7-2-1-0 over its last 10 and moving ahead of Flint atop the OHL’s Western Conference. Philadelphia Flyers prospect Jack Nesbitt (11G-20A in 29 GP) and 2026 NHL Draft prospect Ethan Belchetz (22G-15A in 35 GP) helped lead the charge with five points apiece on the week—Nesbitt having been held off the scoresheet just twice in his last 12 games, while Belchetz continues to pace the Spitfires in goals with 22 during the 2025-26 season. With momentum building, Windsor has also bolstered its lineup by adding 20-year-old forward Alex Pharand and Seattle Kraken prospect Nathan Villeneuve, and will look for another lift this week as captain Liam Greentree returns from the World Juniors with a bronze medal for Canada ahead of matchups versus Erie, Saginaw, and the No. 5-ranked Brantford Bulldogs.
Games this week: vs. Erie (Jan. 8), @ Saginaw (Jan. 10), vs. Brantford (Jan. 11)
10. Flint Firebirds (OHL): After splitting their four games since the holiday break, the Flint Firebirds (26-9-2-2) have slipped to No. 10 in this week’s CHL Top-10 Rankings. Flint earned wins over the Soo Greyhounds (3-1) and London Knights (5-0), but came up short against the Brampton Steelheads (2-1) and No. 9 Windsor Spitfires (4-1), who leapfrogged them in the standings. Overall, the Firebirds are 6-2-1-1 in their last 10 contests. Los Angeles Kings signee Jimmy Lombardi (22G-22A in 37 GP) helped spark the start of the new calendar year with two points (1G-1A) before adding an assist on Flint’s lone goal versus Brampton, while the Firebirds also bolstered their roster over the break by acquiring former Niagara IceDogs captain and Winnipeg Jets prospect Kevin He and Calgary Flames prospect Jacob Battaglia (forrmerly of the Kingston Frontenacs) via trade. With additional help on the way—including the return of Darels Uljanskis from Latvia’s World Juniors roster—Flint will look to steady itself this week during a home stand against the Sarnia Sting, Saginaw Spirit, and Kingston Frontenacs.
Games this week: vs. Sarnia (Jan. 7), vs. Saginaw (Jan. 9), vs. Kingston (Jan. 10)
