OHL News – Radio Edition with host Terry Doyle and presented by Bauer continues for the 2017-18 regular season bringing fans insight from feature guests as well as news and notes from around the league each and every week over the airwaves.
This week’s segment features Los Angeles Kings prospect Drake Rymsha who begins weekend play with 16 points through 13 games including seven goals and nine assists for the first place Sarnia Sting who are currently on a franchise record 11-game winning streak following three-straight wins on a recent northern road trip.
The 19-year-old from Huntington Woods, Michigan, is playing in his first full season with the Sting after joining the club midway through the 2016-17 campaign from the Ottawa 67’s. The fourth year OHL veteran made the most of his new surroundings a year ago with 33 points over his final 28 games before being selected by the Kings in the fifth round of the 2017 NHL Draft.
Rymsha chats with Doyle about the red hot start to the season for the Sting, a balanced offensive attack on a confident team, the increased buzz around the Sarnia community, and his experience at the 2017 NHL Draft followed by working with the Kings during the summer and into main camp.
