North Bay receives Kingston’s third-round selection and Owen Sound’s fourth-round selection in the deal.

A 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-shot defenceman, Manzo has recorded two goals and two assists in 11 games with the Battalion this season. The 19-year-old has appeared in 134 career OHL regular season games between North Bay and the Windsor Spitfires, registering seven goals and 23 assists for 30 points. He has also contributed a goal and an assist in 15 playoff appearances with North Bay.

“We would like to welcome Adrian Manzo and his family to the Owen Sound Attack organization,” said Attack President and General Manager Tyler Nother. “Adrian is a mobile right shot defenseman who has demonstrated an ability to play top minutes and will be a welcomed addition to our D-core. We’re confident that Adrian will make an impact on our roster, and we look forward to working with him on his continued development.”

Originally selected by his hometown Windsor Spitfires in the fifth round of the 2023 OHL Priority Selection from the Vaughan Kings U16 program, Manzo was acquired by North Bay on January 9, 2025, as part of a trade that sent defenceman Wyatt Kennedy to Windsor.

Manzo appeared in 97 regular season games with the Battalion, recording five goals and 20 assists for 25 points.

“This is an opportunity for Adrian to take on a bigger role in Owen Sound,” said Battalion Director of Hockey Operations Adam Dennis.

“We’ve been dealing with high numbers at every position and needed to provide room for players returning from injury. We thank Adrian for his contributions to our team and community. He will be missed.”

In a separate roster move, Owen Sound has recalled forward Matthew Zilinski from the OJHL’s Collingwood Blues, where he has recorded two goals and four assists in seven games this season.

The Attack visit the Barrie Colts on Thursday to open the OHL’s Rivalry Week schedule before returning home to face the London Knights on Saturday and Barrie on Sunday. North Bay hosts the Sudbury Wolves on Thursday.
