Frontenacs Hire Ethan O’Rourke as Video Coach
Kingston, ON – Kingston Frontenacs General Manager Kory Cooper has announced changes to the Hockey Ops support staff for the upcoming season.
Ethan O’Rourke is joining the team as Video Coach. Born in Bowmanville, Ethan has an impressive amount of experience at just 22-years-old. He has already spent four seasons in the OHL with the Oshawa Generals as a scout.
“Ethan brings valuable experience and knowledge of the Ontario Hockey League and its players to the Kingston Frontenacs organization”, said Kory Cooper. “We are excited to have Ethan as part of the team and we look forward to working with him moving forward.”
Former Team Services Coordinator/Video Coach Troy Paquette has accepted the position of Video Coach with the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League. Troy originally joined the Frontenacs in 2018 as Video Coach. He recently attended Hockey Canada’s U-18 Summer Development Camp in the same role.
“We would like to congratulate Troy on his new position with the Marlies in the AHL.” said Cooper. “Troy has developed within our organization and this shows that both the Kingston Frontenacs and the Ontario Hockey League are a great path to the next level for both players and staff. We are happy to see his hard work pay off and we wish him the best with his new opportunity”.
