Steelheads sign forward Thomas Kuipers

BRAMPTON, ON – The Brampton Steelheads announced on Wednesday that forward Thomas Kuipers has signed an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the club.

Originally drafted by the Erie Otters in the thirteenth round (#245 overall) of the 2022 OHL Priority Selection from the Quinte Red Devils U16 AAA program, the 18-year-old Carrying Place, Ont. native has skated in two games for the Steelheads this season. The 6’0 185lb forward has yet to record his first OHL point, however recorded 20 points (7G, 13A) in 27 games with the Trenton Golden Hawks of the OJHL this season.
