Generals Name Leadership Group
Oshawa Generals head coach Todd Miller introduced the club’s 2021-22 leadership group on Friday, with the announcement posted on the Generals’ twitter account (@Oshawa_Generals).
The Gennies will be led by 19-year-old forward and Edmonton Oilers fifth round draft pick Ty Tullio who will don the ‘C.’ Tullio, of Lakeshore, Ont. posted 27 goals and 39 assists over 66 games with the Generals in 2019-20. The former 11th overall choice in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection spent time playing in Slovakia last season.

Joining Tullio with letters are forward Brett Harrison and blueliners Lleyton Moore and David Jesus.
A third round pick of the Boston Bruins this past summer, the 18-year-old Harrison posted 21 goals as a rookie in 2019-20, the most by a Generals freshman since John Tavares in 2005-06. The Dorchester, Ont. product helped Canada win gold at the 2021 IIHF World Under-18 Hockey Championship in Texas this past May, scoring twice in six games. Harrison spent time playing in Finland during the 2020-21 season.
On the blue line, 5-foot-9 power play quarterback Lleyton Moore posted 28 points (6-22–28) over 57 games in his sophomore season in 2019-20. The 19-year-old from Woodbridge, Ont. product is a former 12th overall pick by the Niagara IceDogs in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection.
Fellow defender David Jesus returns to the Generals for his second season after registering 11 points (2-9–11) over 61 outings in 2019-20. The 6-foot-4 right-shot blueliner from Toronto was the club’s 12th round pick in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection. Jesus joined Tullio playing in Slovakia during the 2020-21 season.
