Rangers 1-1 on Eastern Swing
After a win yesterday in Kingston, the Kitchener Rangers were unable to solve Belleville in their second of three games this weekend. The Bulls scored three unanswered goals to take the win.
A wrist shot by Dylan Corson put the Bulls up 1-0 at the 4:28 mark of the first period. The goal came on a Belleville power play and was the only goal of the period.
The Bulls’ Stephen Silas scored on a one-timer early in the second period to put Belleville up 2-0. The remainder of the period was scoreless.
Alex Basso took advantage of a Kitchener line change and found the back of the Rangers net at 4:27 of the third period to increase the Bulls score 3-0.
The Rangers travel to Ottawa on Sunday, March 6th for a 2:00pm stint versus the 67’s. They return home on Friday, March 11th to host the Owen Sound Attack at 7:00pm.
