BAILEY SIGNS WITH SABRES

The Buffalo Sabres announced Sunday that the team has signed Kitchener Rangers forward Justin Bailey to a National Hockey League contract.

Acquired by the Kitchener Rangers in the seventh round of the 2011 OHL Priority Selection, Bailey is the Rangers’ leading scorer with nine goals and seven assists in 12 games played. He was awarded the Jim Malleck Memorial Trophy as the Rangers’ Most Valuable Player at the end of the 2013-14 season after recording 25 goals and 18 assists in 54 games.

The Williamsville, NY native was selected by the Sabres in the second round (52nd overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
