KNIGHTS LOOK FOR PERFECT WEEKEND IN SARNIA
The London Knights ride into a Sunday matinee matchup with Sarnia on the back of three straight wins in the first meeting of the Finch Auto Battle of the 402.
The Knights will look to take momentum from a 4-1 Saturday night win in Saginaw where Alexei Medvedev stopped 28/29 shots and multi-point efforts from NHL first rounders Sam Dickinson and Sam O’Reilly.
Sarnia enters into today’s game after a loss at the hands of the Niagara IceDogs on Friday night. Rookie forward and Komoka, ON native Beckham Edwards leads the Sting in points with 11 through 13 games this season with help from the likes of Mitch Young and Zach Filak.
The Knights took the season series 5-1-0-0 last year over the Sting. Puck drop is set for 2:05pm from Sarnia.
